Music Express kicked off the Labor Day Weekend at the Dockside Grill for some music, games, and of course...KARAOKE! We introduced 2 new games this time.

The first game was "Balloon Stomp". All the children who wanted to play came up to get their balloon and string. We had everyone blow up their balloon and tie it to their ankle. We showed the children the game area and told them when the music started....the object is to pop everyone elses balloon by stomping on it all the while...protecting your own. The last person with their balloon intact is the winner. Everyone enjoyed watching the kids run around popping each others balloons.

The next game was "Noodle War". We took the children 2 at a time and placed a birthday hat on their heads. We then gave each one a foam swim noodle and explained as soon as we gave the signal....the first person who could knock the birthday hat off the other persons head using their noodle would be the winner. This was by far the childrens favorite. They kept coming up asking if they could play again with a different partner. We played the game until all the party hats were broken.

In between all the games there was karaoke and dancing. In addition...a delicious buffet dinner was available to everyone. When night came a big bonfire was lit for marshmallow roasting and s'mores.

Once again Music Express enjoyed entertaining everyone in Candlewick Lake. We hope to see you all again real soon.
